Seeking the Unknown

I received a text from my son. He was thinking about the unknown, and how do you explore for something that you don’t know exists. I started thinking about exploring the spiritual world, how do you do that. Do you have to go to an ashram, or find a guru on a mountain top? How do you start searching for the truth of something that has baffled humans for ever.

My son, being who he is, said you just start with the desire to find the truth of what you are seeking. Then you have to have the desire to start the journey. He said you also have to be willing to give up what you think is the truth, sense you are seeking the unknown, you can not start out with a preconceived notion of what you will find. By giving up what you think is the truth you can accept what you find in the unknown.

He had a warning to the faint of heart, he said be careful what you seek with an open heart, the journey will change you for ever, and that it seems worth it to find out who your truly are.

Sundance.
