Dangerous time in the world

I have been thinking about something that Butch said to me a few days ago. It has to do with what I have been talking about, the change of the age. Butch made the comment that maybe the reason this is going on is because the world has to change to match the change of the age. I don’t like to think of it that way, but the more I thought about it the more I think Butch is right. The world cannot sustain the old way of being, in either people or environment.

I like to hope that the change can be made without people being harmed, but I think that is not realistic. To make deep changes in life, a great amount of the old way has to be changed or discarded. I know from experience that when I am required to make a change in my life, I am usually given a certain amount of time to hear what is needed and to go along with the changes. If I become stubborn and do not want to make the changes, they will at some point be forced on me. I don’t like to admit it, but I have been forced to go with changes a lot more than I would like.

I think it is the same with the earth. We have known that what was going on could not be sustained forever, that large parts of the earth are in trouble, not just environmentally but also human wise. It would seem that the earth has decided enough is enough and is forcing changes. Butch is of the opinion that the world will not be the same after this time in human history moves into the past. I respect what Butch sees and thinks, so I have been giving it a lot of thought, and I think it is the start of a great many changes in the world, and hopefully the beginning of the end for some very bad ways of doing things on this earth.

I think it is also a very dangerous time in the world, not about getting sick, or having a loved one die, although that is in the world right now as well. I was more thinking about how it is a dangerous time because some very bad social policies can come about in a time of such change as we are going thought. I think it is up to everyone to live an old adage, “The only requirement for evil to triumph is for good people to do nothing”.
