The Quiet Before

 

My two boys are asleep at the moment. The house is peace full and quiet. The sort of quiet before a storm. The energy level goes way up when the wake up and start to move around. Come back to this world and bring who they are here.

 

            I was thinking about the Garden of Eden recently. I am not sure if I read it or if it came to me. It sometimes happens that I am reading and information comes to me that has nothing to do with what I am reading. It comes all at once, the information. I was reading a book about the readings of Edgar Casey, so if it was in one of his books. I tried to find it later, what I am going to write about, but couldn’t find it again. I have been wanting to write it down for a long time now, so I guess today is the day.

 

            Garden of Eden:

 

            The story I was shown, is that the entire earth was created as the Garden of Eden. Not just one place or the other. The world was created by God to give spirits a place to come to and have a physical body. God gave the power of creation to any spirit that was invited to come to the earth, and make no mistake, even to this day a spirit has to be invited or they cannot come to the earth.  The power of creation is a significant gift, one that has since been taken away.

 

            The spirits at first gave great joy in being here, and creating physical bodies in the form we have now. Life as you can imagine was easy, if you were hungry you could just create what you wanted to eat. Thirsty just look around and take what you wanted. You could interact with other spirits in physical form. You could come and goes as you pleased. Death did not exist. Spirits did not forget who they were and where they came from. If they wanted to go home, to the place they exist when not in physical form, they simply left the body they were in. No one missed them since all the other spirits also could see them leave.

 

            The spirits could do something very unique, they could interact with the world God had created. This was not possible in the places they came from. The reason God created the earth in physical form was to give spirits a place to evolve and change. God saw that in just the spirit form, spirits did not evolve and become greater than they were. Something God most wanted, and still wants to this day, is that all of creation evolve and move closer to God. So the earth was created and all those that came here had the ability to create whatever they wanted. God’s plan was that with this ability, spirits would understand the responsibility of creation. Responsibility for something greater than themselves.

 

            This worked at first, but then God saw that some of the spirits, instead of becoming more advanced, started to abuse the power of creation that was given. They created strange and abusive creatures. Some of our myths remember this time. Giants, Cyclops, minotaurs, rock creatures, dragons and others that have since been lost to time. They started to abuse the power and try to use it against each other. Making it instead of a paradise, a place that strange and twisted.

 

            Make no mistake, not all spirits even to this day are kind and gentle. The humans that are on the earth today are a reflection of the spirits that are here. It was this way then, and still is this way today.

 

            Given the power to create whatever you want was just too much temptation for some. It became a reflection of themselves. I sometimes wonder why God did not see this coming, but I think God did, and decided to let the spirits see just how far they would go. I also think God was hoping that the spirits would see the deviant nature of it and correct their behavior on their own. As parents do, it was too much to expect from some spirits. As with humans, there are different levels of development of spirits, and not all even to this day are very bright.

 

            The earth for a while, was a paradise and reflected the higher values of what God wanted. Humans walked the earth and enjoyed being here interacting with each other, learning about the different places each came from and understanding more of the creation that God had made.  A creation that was larger than was known. What we would call a peaceful place, a gentle place. A place where you could come and go as you pleased, keep in contact with your home, and not struggle as we do today just to survive. The power of creation meant an easy life for everyone. If you were cold, you could create warmth, if you were too hot, create coolness. Hungry, create the food you want to eat. Very nice life.

 

            The problem was that some spirits started thinking they were more than God, and started thinking they could do things better. Started to try and impose their own will over God’s creation and those that were on the earth at any given time. This was not what God had in mind. So corrections were made. Lessons had to be taught and learned the hard way.

 

            God took away the power of creation. Took away the ability to come and go as a spirit pleased. Those on the earth at the time, had to stay and die what we now consider a normal death. God also took the memory of away from the spirits as to where they came from. The memory of being a spiritual being. As God is want to do, it was all done in the blink of an eye, the world changed in an instant and all those that were here stayed. God made it so that you had to be born in order to enter this world. Spirits no longer could come and go as they please. Rules had been imposed on the earth, rules that are still in place today.

 

            This was being kicked out of the Garden of Eden. The first humans were born, the ones already here, and they had to stay. They had to learn how to live on Gods earth, and they had to learn how to live with one another if they wanted to survive. God put the desire for survival in each. No way home.

 

            The creatures of myth that were here at the time had to be dealt with. These stories have been handed down, and have been kept in the collective memory of humans. The story of Methuselah is also true. When the earth was still a garden, and before God had changed the rules, there was no time limit on how long a spirit could stay. No limit on how long a body could exist. Some simply enjoyed the earth and wanted to stay awhile. When you are immortal a 1000 years is not very long. Dragons and other creatures of long life are like this.

 

            God made us the body of the earth to live on, and gave use bodies of the earth to live in. We follow the ages of the earth, and as the earth, a living being in its own right evolves, so do humans. There are ages to the earth, and as with anything alive, as it moves from one age to another, it changes, and things that seemed important before no long are, and new things and understandings become important. The earth is moving from one age to another at this time, and the humans on it will have to evolve and change as a result of this.

 

            This is not the first change of an age for the earth, there have been others. As now, each age invites a great diversity of spirits to come and be witness to the change, so that the spirits can take the understanding that comes with being here back to where they live when they are not here. The term from the bible is very appropriate here, in my father’s house, there are many mansions. There are great and varied places in all of God’s creation. So many and so different, and they all, including the earth, reside in God’s creation.

 

 The Spirit World

 

            What can you say about the spirit world? I am not talking about ghosts and goblins and things that go bump in the night. That’s for fiction writers to come up with stories to scare and entertain us. I am talking about seeing the world we live in from the view of spirits that are in each of us. We mostly talk about spirits as something separate from ourselves or as owner ship, my spirit. The truth is that the spirits own us, own the physical bodies that we are. When a spirit leaves the body dies. It is pretty much that simple. What happen in between being born and dying is incredible. The experiences that happen to a body and a spirit while alive affects not only the physical world, but also the world that that spirit calls home. Both are changed forever.

 

            People think that the spirit is the spark of life that gives energy to the body. This is not true. It requires the spirit to move the body around, but there is another spark that happens. It happens to the physical body and is independent of the spirit. This spark is what gives the body its energy and life. In some people this spark is very strong, and in others not so strong. As in most things dealing with humans there is a wide variety and no two are ever the same. This spark does not come from the parents, it comes from God. It is the power source that runs us all.

 

            The kicker for all this is that the spirit cannot leave until this spark is used up. It might want to, and certainly there are ways to damage the body beyond repair and the spark fads. The thing is, just like the spirit the spark does not die, it becomes a part of the world again, and also a part of the spirit that had the body. The experience of the spark changes the world. It returns to the life source that is the earth, and it changes the spirit, so that not just the exuberances of that spirit are taken back to the place they call home, but an essence of something else goes with the spirit as well. It does not deplete the earth, but adds to it, as it adds to the spirits home.

 

            I will try and explain a little better. God’s creation is a great and vast place. It is complex and simple all at the same time. The earth is alive with its own spirit, not from someplace else, but its own unique and marvelous life. It is incredible strong and looks after everything on earth. It knows without a dough its roll in God’s creation and is a very peace full and forgiving nature. It is the source that gives life to every living thing on earth. This is its place in God’s creation. To provide a home for physical life. Not just for humans, but for all life on earth. That spark I spoke about comes from the life energy of the earth, not the spirit, but the spark. Without it, there is no life on earth. Spirits would not have any place to become physical beings. This is an important concept, without the spark from the earth, there is no life on earth.

 

            The spirit and the spark are what gives rise to life in humans on earth. It is just how it is. When a human is born, the two combine to give rise to a unique individual. The spark is new each time, whereas the spirit may be new to the earth, never been here before, or may be returning. This combination is who we are. It is what we are, and it guides us for the entire time our bodies are alive and the spirit is here. The interaction with all the other humans gives rise to the experience that will return with the spirit to its home.

 

            We have a tendency to look at the world as ruled by the physical beings that we are and the spirits have little influence or sway over what happens here. The truth is it’s the other way around. The spirits that we are have complete control and are responsible for all the actions of the physical body. They are also always in contact with each other. Most are just not able to hear it, or a better way to say it would be that our spirit does not allow us to hear it. The information is simply not given to us. By that I mean that the memory of being alive, current and past lives, are kept with the spirit, not in the physical body.  It is the spirit that has the memories. When you look at the world as if you are always your spirit, it has a tendency to change how you see the world. The physical person, and the spirit are one in the same, just that the construct comes from the spirit, not the body. The body is to hold the spirit and is the conduit for action on the earth. The spirit without the body has no means of control over the physical earth. It can influence events by working with spirits that do have physical bodies, but other than that, no influence at all. What we see, and do, and understand, and remember all come from the spirit. Also remember the spark of life that is from the earth, this is also in the physical body, and the spirit has to deal with this. This spark of life has its own power, and is not completely dumb and can exert its own influence on the events of life. This is one of the greatest parts of creation. This push and pull, and requirement that the spirit must listen and no longer has the power of creation. This was the great wisdom of God, to put in place such a system.
